We have received word from the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation that we can use funds remaining from them in the Wellness grant to help ease the impact of COVID-19 on people with spinal cord injuries in our region. It’s great news. 

 

In accordance with the feedback we received from our membership responding to the survey I sent a little over a week ago, we’ll be focusing the funds on the following areas and making them available as quickly as possible.  You can apply for the COVID-19 relief funds for these areas:

• Groceries, medication, and home supplies, as well as the delivery of those things

• Home cleaning and sanitizing (professional services)

• Increased home care needs

• Increased medical expenses
